HOOT stands for Help Our Own Train. We are a group of firefighters, paid and volunteer, active and retired with a common goal, to give the best and safest training any fire department can find anywhere. The Business of Fire Fighter Training
HOOT instructors care about how you are trained. We have a combined total of over 200 years in the fire service among our instructors and WE know how to do things correctly. We'll teach YOU how to do things correctly. There are a lot of little things that aren't taught in Rookie school, little things that just make your life on the fire ground a little easier and a whole bunch safer. It's getting close to the end of the year and this is a good time to begin a new training calendar. Let us sit down with your training committee and start a yearly training calendar. We'll have an instructor in your training room once a month and schedule full scale, hands on once each quarter. We can tailor your training needs to the calendar anyway you want. Give us a call now.
